Al Gore heads Dominican Republic conference on climate change

Santo Domingo.- Former United States vice president Al Gore met with president Leonel Fernandez in the National Palace yesterday, prior to heading a conference on climatic change.

They discussed the changes in the planet’s climate and its possible influence on the global economy.

The Dominican leader and the head of the Thinking Green Foundation also spoke about international politics and its future perspective, in the meeting in which the Presidency’s Chief of Staff Luis Manuel Bonetti was also present.
