Hoteliers, officials work to relaunch Sosúa-Cabarete

The Sosúa and Cabarete Hotels and Restaurants Association aims to relaunch that north region tourism resort via an alliance with the Tourism Ministry and the city councils of those communities.

Association president Diego Garibaldi, North zone Tourism vice minister Cesar Jose de los Santos and Sosúa councilman Adolfo Farrington attended the Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE) in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for that purpose.

Garibaldi cited Sosúa-Cabarete’s attractions, especially its night life, as well as the culture of Jewish settlers, the kite sailing and surfing championships and the already traditional jazz festivals.
